Virginia
Beach Public Schools 403(b) Retirement Savings Plan
Karl Klinger, CFP®, CLU
is registered with the Virginia Beach Public Schools as an agent
authorized to work with employees to establish their retirement
savings accounts in the school system's 403(b) retirement
plan. I am registered with the school system to represent
American Funds (Capital Bank and Trust Company).
By
contributing to a 403(b) plan, you save on income taxes now and
build a retirement savings account for your future. You choose
the amount of contribution you wish to make which is deducted from
your pay and automatically invested in your retirement savings
account as you designate. You may increase, decrease, stop, or
start your contributions prior to any pay period. For 2008,
you may contribute up to $15,500. If you will reach age 50 by
Dec. 31, 2008, you may contribute an additional $5,000. All
contributions are 100% vested immediately, so they always belong to
you regardless of how long you continue to work for the school
system.
